江戸川菜の花ロード（野田橋から玉葉橋まで）

This weekend was fine days for cycling. Today, I went to see field mustard on the bank of the Edogawa river. I like visiting this place in this season, so I went there both one and two years ago. You can see the amazing landscape as if there were 5km long yellow carpet on the bank there. There were many cyclists, because there is the cycling road on the bank. You can find out the sing board that indicate kilometers from Tokyo Bay from the pictures uploaded.

この週末は晴天に恵まれ自転車散歩日和になりました。今日は、昨年、一昨年よりも少し早めに江戸川のサイクリングロードの菜の花を見に出かけました。

県道19号線を利用して野田橋に到着です。今日は渋滞もなく順調に進むことが出来ました。

そして、江戸川右岸のサイクリングロードとはいうと…。期待通り、菜の花で真っ黄色でした。ただ、例年より少し早めに来たせいか、香りは若干少なめに感じました。単に花粉症の影響かもしれません。ここからサイクリングロードを東京湾方向に向けて進みます。

土手には菜の花だけではなく、雑草ではありますが、春を告げるオオイヌフグリの小さな花も咲いていました。

江戸川の土手からは、東京スカイツリーが少し霞みながらもバッチリ見えました。

今年は土手の造成工事のため、海から36.75km付近の場所から、菜の花が途絶えていました。来年には復活しているでしょうか？

玉葉橋に近づくと、少年野球の試合が行われており、少しだけ観戦です。そして、玉葉橋に到着です。

玉葉橋からは県道326号線を利用し、新川橋にて中川を渡って越谷市に戻りました。
今日の走行距離は26kmほど。春を感じる自転車散歩になりました。
