桜の散った新方川の桜並木／大きな鯉の川のぼり

Blooming length of cherry blossoms of this year was long compare to ordinary year. However, the weather during full blooming was not fine in this year, so that I could not enjoy viewing cherry blossoms. Today, though the weather was changeable, I went to see the status of cherry blossoms along Niikatagawa river. At the riverside, I found that most of blossoms were strewn over ground and surface of the river, and only cups of the blossoms were remain. In the water of the river, I found school of carps whose length were almost 1m. I have never seen such  large and many carps in this river. In Japan, a carp is a symbol of a success career, so I wish that these carps would bring me good fortune!

今年の桜は開花期間は長かったものの、満開時期の先週末は天気がすぐれず、お花見を楽しむことはできませんでした。今日も、雨やら晴れやらと目まぐるしく天気が変わりましたが、買い物ついでに、ママチャリで近所の新方川の桜並木の様子を見に行きました。 

結果は、不合格通知の電報のようですが「サクラ チル」といった感じで、多くは萼（がく）だけが残っている状態でした。

新方川の水面には散った桜の花びらが漂っていました。そして、漂っている花びらを見ていると、勢いよく飛び跳ねる魚が一匹見えました。

水面の光の反射で当初は全く気が付かなかったのですが、人道橋の上から花びらの漂う川の水の中を覗き込むと、1m近くもあろうかという大きな鯉の群れがいるではありませんか！

新方川にこんなに多くの鯉がいるとは知りませんでした。滝はないので「鯉の滝のぼり」とは言えませんが、「鯉の川のぼり」を見られて、少しいいことでもありますでしょうかね。

今日の走行距離はごくごくわずか。天気予報では、明日は高気圧に覆われて概ね晴れるようですが、予定があるため自転車散歩には出かけられないかも…。
